Well Lea has been talking about graduation and her experiences as she finishes school so I thought I would mention a couple of things that have popped up for me in the last week or so as far as graduation is concerned. The math department chair wrote me an email asking me if I would like to attend the annual CIET college awards banquet and that apparently I would be getting an award (got one last year so it was a little bit of a surprise). I told him I would like to go and also that I would be going to commencement (since he had asked about that also). After all was said and done between with our communications back and forth he had not realized I had received an award last year at the banquet and let me know they would like to honor another student this year (spread the love). I told him that would be fine and I actually won't be making the trip for the banquet now, but I will be going to commencement the first weekend in May and he told me that if this year is like past years I will be sitting on the stand as an outstanding math scholar which is a neat little honor to receive.
By the way everyone can go to Lea's college convocation I will just make Jane go to mine. It is sad we are actually at the same time for our individual colleges at 2:00PM. The large group commencement is at 9:00-10:30 AM.
So there you have the schedule now... For the most part.
