We made it to the Grand Canyon and home again. We had a great time even with the cold rainy weather. We road buses up and down the rim to see everything. We will have to go again with more of the family and in a little warmer weather.

A place for the Jeanne Hunt family to keep in touch and let each other know what is happening.
It has been a project for more than August but came to a head when it really rained at the house. The rain gutter was bent so rain would pour off the house into the window wells. They moved dirt to protect the house and make a ditch for the water to run down. We fixed the rain gutter so that helped.
Sally had wanted a larger play area for the kids so Nathan had come over and moved dirt before the big rain.

I went to Green River Friday and Saturday to pick up Kya who had been visiting for a week. We had a good visit and I got to play with Kenlee. She crawls around fast with a foot push crawl. It is really cute how she does it. She will probably be walking soon. We went to the Powell museum Saturday the wind was so bad we didn't want to do anything outside. Joe, Lea, and Kya went golfing the Friday afternoon in the wind, while I tended a sleeping Kenlee and played with Ruger.
If you notice the dates we woke up to snow on the May 2. The next picture showed it snowing during the day.

During the week the weather was nice even hot a couple of days. I planted tomatoes and some peppers. Yesterday I planted the Tomatillos, which needed to get out of the house. I have plastic domes, which will protect them because today when I got up and looked outside more snow. It isn't much but it is snow and is cold so would of frozen them all. Maybe we can get the garden in in June. I had it planted on May 1 last year.
