Joe and I went to Lake Powell with our friends and stayed on their family's houseboat. It was so much fun! I had never done that so it was a new adventure for me! This is us on the house boat. We played in the water, fished, and had a lot of fun! It was a great vacation for the summer! It will probably be are main one for the summer especially with gas prices being so expensive. Some of the other things we have planned for the summer are: Joe going with his friends this weekend to Moab to go rock crawling, the family sleep out this weekend, hunter safety at this end of the month for me, three wedding receptions in July. Then by that time the summer will have flown by and it will be time go to work. For those of you who don't know I am planning on just finding a job other then teaching for now. I am looking into a teachers aid job at South Elementary currently but we will see if anything else opens up or what will be happening by then. I hope everyone is enjoying their summer! Love ya all! It looks like you two had a good time. I told Joe to bring me back a tan (I tell anyone who goes anywhere warm to bring me back a tan - they never do) but I think he said he needed all the sun for his white legs. Are they better after this weekend.
Enjoy your hassle-free summer. They are few and far between. Like you said, summer will be over before we know it and then life will start again.
Teachers aides get decent money for a part time job. Oh and when are people coming to visit??? Huh ??? well good to see you are having fun for the rest of us.
I don't know that the sun helped all that much. We were to busy lathering on the sun block for us to get too much sun, which is better than a burnt marshmellow. It was lovely weather though that is for sure! Yeah, I have to make the most of this summer for sure! Thanks for the post Missy!
Yeah, Kristan did the whole teachers aide the end of the school year. She said it was nice and she got paid well. I almost wish it was more hours than just part time though because we could use extra money but it is better than nothing. I am still going to look into options a little I think or if I could just to something extra on the side that would be nice. Well I am not sure if gas prices with allow us to go on another trip but who knows. Mom said she might come visit. I am going to babysit grandma while she does that. Thanks for the post Abe.
