The Pond is gone.

I tried to find the first picture of the pond but couldn't find it so thought the bird was good.   They will miss having baths in it.  I think it was put in in  2002.

The pump stopped working and I didn't want to buy another. I was also tired of the up keep.

Kids playing

Jane sent this to me of the rabbits. Ella is getting big.

Kenlee is visiting. Her and Gwen painted some things we picked up at Joann's.

Kenlee was wanting to hold Ella.  Ella is amost always smiling.

Kenlee  and Gwen had the same clothes on when they came one day it was not planned.

Blankets

Sally made this for Zoe for Christmas. It is a butterfly.

I wanted this to put on the  floor for babies  to crawl so I made it

Then Kenlee saw those and she wanted a cat so this is hers. they are fun to make just takes time to pic and cut them out.

Eleanora Grace Hunt was born Oct. 22, 2012 at 1:40 PM today. 8 lbs. 1 oz, 20.5 in. Gwen said this was the best October day she has had. Gwen was 8 lbs. 1 oz and 19.5 in when she was born. It will be fun to see how much they are alike and how they are different.

Melon Days 2012

We had so much fun for Melon Days! My mom, Jon & Tonia's family, Dave & Sally's Family, and Melanie came for Melon Day's this year! We had so much fun! We went to the parade in the morning. Then went to the park to do some of the activities. Later we went to the State Park to watch the duck race. Then everyone but Kya and my mom went home. We went to a country concert that night and watched a little square dancing. Such a great time...can't wait until next year I looked forward to it every year! My mom embroidered these cute melon shirts!! They turned out soooo cute and it was easy to spot our family around the park! Here are some of the things we did!

Melanie playing the snare drum! Great job Melanie! It made me a proud Aunt! She did such a good job!
Some of the kids got these bracelets in their goody bags. So Kya and Karina took a picture of it.
Here are some of my nephews:
Carter, Riley (it was Riley's birthday, not many people get parades for their birthday's) Eli and Alex

One of the floats it was cute they were dressed up as cows. I should have taken more pictures but as you can see we were behind people.

There were some girls dressed up like Princess's in the parade. Our girls knew one of them so they went to get a picture with her and Kenlee. Kenlee loved it! Oh look she is even wearing her princess shirt...how fitting....

Eclipse

May 20, 2012 Kanarraville was one of the Sweet spots to see the Eclipse so Cedar had all kinds of things going on. We went to the Aquatic Center to see the Eclipse activities.  It was lots of fun. By the time we got there all of the glasses were gone but I had saved a pair from school so I was good.

Abe, Jane, Gwen, Holden and I sat out front and watched. It was great thru the glasses and in out pin boxes  but it was really neat wen we saw the it on the wall of the house.  I had read to look through the leaves of trees but guess it meant the shadow of them. I was great.

Here is the full eclipse on the wall. I also have a movie of the other wall where the rings are bigger from the tree that is across the street.

This is from inside Sally's house, they had them all over their living room. They were coming through curtains they had just put up.  She has a good one of the full eclipse.
It will be a day to remember. We had another one I remember when I was teaching at Beryl.
