Mom's Funeral 2

My Kids

We found Mother's Wedding dress when we were cleaning. Karina was about the only one that it would fit.

Guess I will get caught up on posting

I wish I was a better writer so I could post things really easy. I write and erase. So here goes. I am going to post things that have happened during the last little while. I guess this can be my Journal. Might not be to many words but lots of pictures. I am getting caught up on House organizing so have a little more time. I have gotten pictures ready but just haven't started.

Snow In Seattle 2012

Hi everyone!  We are currently experiencing a HUGE snow storm in Seattle!  (Love it!)  School was cancelled on Tuesday and Wednesday and my guess is that it will be cancelled tomorrow as well.

Also, we made our family blog, Hunt Happenings, public so it will appear on Google Reader (if you use this feature.)  Enjoy!

Melon Days 2011

I love Melon Days. It is always so much fun! Sometimes it is overwhelming for those of us that live here but all the same we have a blast!! It can just be overwhelming because sometimes we are just involved in so many responsiblities. Especially Joe, I hardly saw him at all on Saturday.  Tonia came again for this years event.  Jon came this year for his first time!! I was glad he was able to make it. They brought all their kids besides the oldest and they  brought Melanie also. We love having company it was soooo much fun! We just wish they could have stayed longer then just Saturday.

Here is Kenlee with her balloon just waiting for the parade.

Karissa, Melanie, Alex, Kenlee, Kassidy

This is my good friend Emily and her little boy Owen. Kenlee and Owen are only 3 weeks apart. Emily is from Green River. We met in College so her and I and Melon Days go way back! Joe and I are really good friends with her family (who still lives in GR) we just love their family. When Emily and Brian and Owen come to GR we get together when we can! It is great that we live here so we get the opportunity of seeing them once in awhile!
Just eating a cupcake....yummy!

The cheerleaders decided to do a pie throwing fundraiser this year. They asked me if I would be part of it and I said only if they didn't have enough people....you can see how that turned out for me in this picture ha ha ha...I am glad that I helped them out though I had sooo much fun! It was fun and it also tasted good. This is me and another one of the teacher Burke Simmons that also teaches at the school. We had a lot of fun. Kenlee wasn't sure quite what to do at first. She just took some of the whipped topping and lightly put it on my face.

She got the hang of it and helped dad out.

After the pie throwing we went home and had lunch then headed over to the state park to watch the annual duck race that the EMT's are in charge of. They drop rubber ducks of the bridge and wait for them to get to the dock at the state park. We didn't win but it was still fun to watch. Here we all are a little tired out as you can see.
Waiting for dad to get back from on the river and playing in the sand with Kira. Kenlee loves her cousins and they definately love her back and take such good care of her!

I love this picture even with my crusty pie face ha ha...front to back: Alex, Kira, Karissa, Melanie, Karina, Kassidy and me. Kenlee is there but you can't see her.

We had so much fun and I am so glad these guys came to see us! Until another year...hopefully we don't have to wait that long until we have visitors...I guess at least we are going to do some visiting of our own if not for the I would go crazy! I just love having company!! There is nothing quite like family! I don't know what I would do without such a great family!

Joe's New Job

Joe got a job at the airport where a company called Conductive Composites is currently located.  I will just include the some of information about the job straight from the website: "Making Plastics and Composites conduct like Metal."  Conductive Composites Company is a global technology leader in the development of innovative products and technologies that enable conductivity and electromagnetic shielding (EMI) solutions. Applications include composite materials, polymeric systems, and energy storage and transmission. Conductive Composites offers a portfolio of conductive products that includes nickel nanostrands, nonwovens, nickel-coated carbon fiber, and a line of conductive EMI shielding polymeric products. All materials are traceable, with ISO certification in progress. Additional capabilities include consultation services, contract research, engineered materials, and system solutions.

He really is enjoying the job!  I think it is something he will realy like doing.  :-)  He works from 4pm until 12am.  It works out well for Kenlee.  Joe is able to stay with her during the day then we switch at night.  Kind of like we were doing when he was working at Energy Solutions.  The hours may switch as time goes on but they are working for now.

Dress for Play

Karina and I had a marathon sewing a dress Monday and Tuesday. It is for a play later in the month.
